Glossybox – The November Edition

Guys, I’ve been at it again with the beauty box subscriptions. This time I’ve decided to give Glossybox a bash as I was sucked in by an enticing deal and a Halloween themed Trick or Treat box!

Halloween has now passed and I recently received the November box through the door so I thought that I’d share the contents with you!

I have to say, I found the contents of this box really exciting and it’s been the best one out of the boxes that I’ve received.  The first item that I pulled out was the Eaton Eyeshadow Palette by Stylondon (RRP:£9.99).

The colours in this palette are absolutely beautiful and I can already tell that I’ll be getting good daily use out of it. The photo below is really not doing the hues in this palette justice!

I was particularly excited about the next product – a full sized Huda Beauty liquid matte lipstick in the shade ‘Girl Friend’ (RRP: £18). I love the Huda liquid lipsticks, I recently purchased one while I was in Florida and I think that they are fantastic value for money. They apply beautifully and last really well!

An added extra to the box was the travel sized Chloe Nomade‘ perfume. It smells lush and has made it into my gym bag for everyday use.

I must admit that I thought that the next item was a face mask, I’m glad that I read the jar before I started slathering it on!  The Living Proof- Restore Mask Treatment (RRP: 10) is actually a hair mask which I’m intrigued to see if it actually makes a difference to my hair.

Also in the box was the Context Micro-Derm Regenerator (RRP: £6.50). I’ve recently tried microdermabrasion so I was interested to see if this cleanser felt similar to the one that was used during my treatment. Truthfully, it wasn’t as coarse as the scrub used during my treatment (which was probably to be expected to be honest), but it did leave my face feeling soft and clean.

The last item in the box was the Yourgoodskin balancing skin concentrate (RRP: £5.83). I’ve been getting a few breakouts recently so I’m trialling this to see if it helps. I think the green tea in it should help to reduce redness but it’s still early days for my to actually declare if it works or not yet.

Overall, I think that Glossybox has been one of the more worthwhile beauty subscription boxes that I’ve signed up for. There are a lot of full sized items included with brands that I think are fantastic value; the Huda lipstick alone costs £18 so to have it included in a box that costs £10 alongside other items is great!
